Heavy civil demo — public works project tracker
This is a live, interactive demo built on a real public works project map. No login required. Every record type used on a heavy civil roadway project is represented — explore freely.
What this demo shows
- RFIs pinned to station — Open RFIs appear as pins at the station on the corridor where the field condition triggered the question. Click any pin to read the full RFI and its response status.
- Field directives — Owner and engineer directives are pinned to the location of the changed work. See how scope changes are tracked geographically rather than by record number alone.
- Submittals and approvals — Material submittals and shop drawing approvals are tied to the location of the work they govern. The foreman at that station can see whether the submittal is approved before materials arrive.
- Survey requests — Field-initiated survey requests are pinned to the locations where staking is needed. The survey crew sees the full queue geographically and prioritizes accordingly.
- Daily lane closures as geometry — Lane closures are drawn as polylines on the roadway map — not rows in a spreadsheet. Each closure shows the affected segment, direction, and status for the day.
- Plan overlays — Project plan sheets are aligned over the satellite map so the design intent and the as-built conditions are visible in the same view.
